Versus Exhibition by Sunil Kainth and Brett Lyon, 3rd - 17th April 2010
"Versus" is a joint collaboration between Sunil Kainth and Brett Lyon. Both works are inspired and influenced by current affairs, mythology, comics, movie genres , video games, music and literature. However the styles are contrasting as are the mediums we work in (hence the title "versus"). Sunil's is drawing/ painting whereas Bretts is sculpture. The key themes to the work are Nostalgia and the battles between characters and their own inner demons. Sunil and Brett create work that shows the range of emotions that we all feel from anger to sadness, joy, love, hatred, jealousy and so on.OPENING TIMES
